Thread: Website was hacked... |

Some asshat hacked all my domains and made a mess of things.
I think all is normal now. Let me know of any problems that might be lingering.
Thanks,

Awesome video! Great edit job, and you get 2,000 bonus points for including a Megadeath song.
I liked the subtle zoom of the red light near the front. The FFW highway stuff was pretty wild, too.
What kind of camera mount are you using? Have a wide angle lens attached?

How do the brackets mount underneath the lower triple? Very clean look, Jason.

Leader? Hardly! How about humble web servant?
Sorry about being MIA, and no update action. I work for Sprint Nextel in the Bristol, TN market; we have the NASCAR race in a few weeks. Lots and lots of prep work to prepare our network. Bookoo Lots of overtime, no family (or website) time.
Things should slow down after the race. Until then, I'll lurk and smile a crap eating grin every time I see a new registration
We'll get there. Things are steadily picking up traffic wise, and that's with the lazy "web servant" dude not even building the site yet!
Worst part is that the poor bike is in a bazillion pieces in the garage and I gots no time to give it some TLC. With all this overtime, maybe I'll have some coin to get the TIG I want soon though!

Welcome to the forum, Joey! It sounds like your garage is full of fast bikes
Jason and I have been talking to ourselves the last few weeks. Nice to see a couple of new faces!

Very nice, Jason! Those look SHARP.
We were discussing putting it in one of the risers, but I like the look of the one you posted. Sounds like I need to start hitting the v-twin/harley sites and looking at controls. I have a metric crapload bookmarked from looking for lights.
The plans for the risers / bars have changed somewhat. Almost finished with another build report, I'll get that posted by this weekend.

Thread: What is an American Streetfighter to you? |
|

To me, the new breed of fighter can be summed up with "less is more".
Simple, clean lines, aggressive posture, chopped subframe, and no circus looking qualities you see on many fighters today. The bike should look like it is ready to punch you in the face for staring at it, but you shouldn't be able to help but stare at it! Those are just a few to get us started...
I know in my minds eye what an American Streetfighter should look like; how do I put it into words to explain to the rest of the world on the AS front page?
What are the qualities of a true American Streetfighter to you?

Sorry for the lack of updates. Work has been a lot of... well... work, lately.
I am still deciding what areas of the site will be needed and what I should bail on. Any feedback would be excellent:
Sure to keep
- Forum (obviously!)
- Gallery
- Links
- Build Reports
- AS Store
- Contact
Planning on ditching...
The site obviously needs a lot of work still, but I don't really care about the low traffic right now. I'm in this for the long haul. I'm convinced once the site is complete and folks start to see bikes like Jason's R1, there will be quite a buzz about the NEW breed of Streetfighter; The AMERICAN STREETFIGHTER!

My brother is helping out by fabricating a new upper triple for the FZ6. I envision a super clean, super aggressive, looking front end for the bike. I'm not sure if the brake fluid reservoir is going to stick out like a sore thumb or not.
I already have plans for all the control switches, placing them in areas where they will not be seen. I'm just not sure how to get around the brake fluid reservoir...
I found this online:
http://www.customcyclecontrols.com/index...ID=14/art14.htm
But it cost almost two thousand dollars. There has to be a more low tech solution...
Tools available to work with:
Manual Milling Machine
Below is a CAD of what it should look like when we are finished, minus the controls, grips, etc.

No longer for sale.
Swingarm spent some time on my brothers milling machine and it has been talked into fitting on my FZ6.
