Barchack Replies: 4 Views: 5,302 07-17-2008 12:05 Forum: General Discussion Just wanted to post an update...I picked up an SV650 yesterday. It's a brand new 2007 and I love it. They let me test drive the thing for almost an hour and it's just a great bike to play around on. They're gonna hold onto it for me until I'm back from Afghanistan for good, and I'm already looking for a fender eliminator and few other things. Thanks for the advice so far! I have been riding for a little more than a year, but I've ridden dirtbikes for a long time. I'm looking at picking up a new bike when I get home and I was wondering what you guys think would be a good intermediate bike. I want it to have power, but I don't need something that will immediately kill me...yet. What do you guys think about the Street Triple? Would I be better off buying a non-naked streetbike and tearing it apart myself? I'll take any advice that I can get!
